Marian Consecration

Archdiocese of Cincinnati Bicentennial Marian Pilgrimage

Join us for Mass on Saturday, June 19th at 4:30 PM to finish up our Marian Consecration with others across the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. If you can’t make it downtown to St. Peter in Chains and Fountain Square for the live stream consecration then you can pray the prayer of consecration with us at Saturday Mass. This is the concluding consecration prayer for the 33 Days to Morning Glory Reflection booklets we have been praying with the last five weeks. If you need a copy of the booklet they can be found at the doors of the church. Marian Consecration can happen at many times throughout the year, so it is not too late to participate. Join us here this Saturday to consecrate ourselves and the Archdiocese of Cincinnati to Jesus through Mary.

The Archdiocese of Cincinnati is planning a Bicentennial Marian Pilgrimage throughout the Archdiocese. This is where an Our Lady of Fatima Statue will be in procession, beginning the journey from the northern part of the Archdiocese and processing by foot through 36 parishes. The statue of Our Lady of Fatima will be at St. Ignatius on Tuesday, June 15th, and Our Lady of Lourdes on Wednesday, June 16th.

To help celebrate this Bicentennial, we will be participating with all the other parishes in the Archdiocese in consecrating our lives and Archdiocese to Jesus through Mary. We are doing this with the “33 Days of Morning Glory” book for daily reflections. For the consecration, we ask everyone to sign up today by contacting the Religious Education Office by phone or e-mail. Booklets are available in our church near the exits.  The Consecration reflections will begin on Sunday, May 16th, and consecration will take place on Saturday, June 19th. Go to www.mary2021.org to find out more about other activities being done for the Bicentennial of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. Contact the Religious Education Office with any questions and to sign up at 347-2071 or jschaefer@olv.org
